For the French Paris Opéra, the " 3rd Scene" platform
After "O as in Opera" which allowed us to film almost every corner of the Bastille and Garnier Opera houses, it seemed worthwhile to step away from these historically significant venues and explore the opera from a different perspective, focusing instead on music and the act of listening.
It therefore felt natural to try and capture some of the breathtaking emotions that overwhelm us when we are immersed in the full intensity of an opera.
As we searched for the right word to describe the feeling of a first-time opera experience, the image of being truly shaken kept coming back... and so we decided that our main character in this film should be "shaken", in every sense of the word…
